"Upon my first visit to this facility I noticed that they patients seemed very happy. I noticed that on one instance that a female resident was having a bad day was confused, and asking for her dead husband; the tech that was taking care of that female resident sat down with her and talked to her o comfort her. Many of the residents were up and enjoying activites. This was very refreshing to see. I highly recomend this facility for a happy healthy family member. "

"My father is in Mabry Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. It's a family-owned nursing home, and it is extremely clean. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The staff was attentive to the patients. When we were there, they were doing some remodeling and repainting. They had several housekeepers going around and cleaning. They do a lot of activities with the patients. They were playing bingo when we were there. They do special events a lot. They do a lot of decorations and things like that for the different seasons. They were taking down the Halloween decorations and putting up Christmas decorations when we were there. Some of the food looked good. I didn't taste any of it, but the staff eats there. My grandmother was there when she passed and then my mom's parents were there when they passed and they were taken very good care of."

"This is a top notch facility. The price of living is very affordable, it includes all meals, and excellent service. I would highly recommend this facility. I have had numerous patients and friends in this facility. I am a Tennessee Certified Nurse Tech, I am very picky about how my loved ones and patients are taken care of. The patients I have visited in this facility were very well cared for. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The food was very good. The staff was very professional. I loved the care my family and friends have recieved from this facility. "

"We toured NHC Place, Sumner assisted living. We liked it because it was close to family and stuff. The only thing mom didn't like was it was on the second-floor level and she's not comfortable with elevators. I told her it would be a while before she could get a room on the bottom floor, and the bottom floor was way more expensive than she would've been able to pay. The staff was friendly, nice, considerate, and very knowledgeable. She was in rehab at that same place, so we just kind of went from rehab to there over that afternoon when I went to see her. They offered 24-hour nursing care, laundry facility, cable, phone, three meals a day, and snacks."

"This facility was very tidy. The residents were up and about. Some were playing cards, some were just chatting. Their caregivers were right there with them making the residents feel they were right at home. Everyone of the staff I met were very nice. The patients seemed extremely happy. No one that I saw on my visit was dirty or soiled. "

"Upon my arrival at this facility I was greeted by many smiling faces. The staff was very professional and friendly. I even felt like I had just walked into my grandmothers house. The patient I was there to see was very happy. She appeared very well taken care of. She was changed if she had soiled herself very promptly. She was taken to do crafts while I was there and said it was one of her favorite parts of the week. "

"McKendree Village had everything my sister was looking for. She's moving from a home in Pennsylvania to be down here in Nashville by me and it has all the things that she doesn't have. It's great that they have 24-hour nursing and the room is set up. They have individual rooms and they have a dinette with a refrigerator and she's looking forward to having a refrigerator. It has a tub and she's not used to taking showers and she's looking forward to the tub. The rooms were compact, but they had everything. The owner was wonderful. The lady there was very knowledgeable and very kind. I'm looking forward to my sister being there. It's an older facility but it's well-kept. They have an activity director, too."

"My mother has been at this place for 3 years. It is a nice for a seniors who has a good mind and can care for themselves. But when they get like my mother who has dementia and her mental health is lowly getting worse my advise is not even think about putting your love one there. If at all possible go ahead and put your love one in a Senior Living home where they are qualify to work with dementia patient and have a love for dementia people and ado so with cheerfully and lovely heart. This place took my mother knowing her had dementia, but the caregivers are not qualify or trained to work with dementia patient. Richland is only for seniors who can help themselves who only needs a little assisting with their medicine and personal hygiene. That is why I give it a 4 star rating. It has been a roller coaster ride for me since the beginning. "
