The Waters of Gainesboro

My mom moved into The Waters of Gainesboro. It's very clean. It's very welcoming. They have a courtyard with swings where you can sit and talk. We can take Mom out there, and we can talk to her. They have an incredible activities department. Last week, they had senior prom, a cookout, and Hawaii Day. They're constantly doing stuff all the time to keep the patients active. They've been super good. The nurses have been super caring. They decorate inside and outside. It's just beautiful. They take pride in their facility. The food, from what I've seen, looks good.

My father is in Mabry Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. It's a family-owned nursing home, and it is extremely clean. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. The staff was attentive to the patients. When we were there, they were doing some remodeling and repainting. They had several housekeepers going around and cleaning. They do a lot of activities with the patients. They were playing bingo when we were there. They do special events a lot. They do a lot of decorations and things like that for the different seasons. They were taking down the Halloween decorations and putting up Christmas decorations when we were there. Some of the food looked good. I didn't taste any of it, but the staff eats there. My grandmother was there when she passed and then my mom's parents were there when they passed and they were taken very good care of.
