I went to Charter Senior Living of Gallatin to visit my sister. They were great. They were always there for her whenever she needed anything and took great care of her. They did activities with her, PT, OT, and all those things. They helped her a lot. I was amazed with them. They were wonderful. My sister loved their food. She ate very well. They had a variety of proteins, vegetables, and different things. They had hot meals every day. They have outdoor spaces, an activity center, Bible reading, a little area where they gather for church services, and just different things. They have little animals that come to visit. They do different activities at different times with the community that comes in. It's just amazing for the residents.

Charter Senior Living of Gallatin was a very nice community. It was a welcoming community. However, I wasn't expecting their version of what they call an apartment because there's no capability of cooking. Your apartment is really just a room with communal eating. I'm looking for something that has the capability for my parents to be able to cook on their own. Otherwise, it was a very nice facility. They covered the whole spectrum of assisted living. I talked to one of the nurses on duty. People were just out and about doing their own thing. I did see a couple of staff walking with individuals down the hall.

I really liked it, but they are an assisted living facility and not memory care, so it was not as secure. The residents can just walk out and that was a concern to me. I would've certainly considered it as a good place for my parents if the memory care was not so important. The facility was not as new or upscale feeling as the others. It was more of a country home type feeling. The staff seemed very nice and the lady that gave us the tour was really good. She was very committed to showing us around and giving us all the information we needed to make a decision. The dining area appeared very nice. They gave us banana bread and it was delicious. The rooms were very homey and very comfortable, more so than any place else that I visited.

We found it for my friend and she plans to move there. I liked that it's small. They take the residents outside in the garden, they read stories, and they have a piano. They serve three meals, they have housekeeping, and they have a great staff.

I liked the attention the people paid to their residents. The facility was very nice and had a nice courtyard and natural light coming in. It felt more like a home. It was a little old-fashioned in its decor but that might be the intended design. Their manager was very knowledgeable and really knew her stuff.

I moved my grandmother into the facility about two months ago. She was very uneasy about living somewhere besides her home. After two months, we have a hard time getting her to go to our house for Sunday dinner. The food is amazing and they have several choices to choose from daily. If you do not like what they have on the menu, they always have foods that are available 24/7. The resident assistants are very helpful and caring. I just love that my grandmother has found a home away from home that satisfies her. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their family.

My father moved in to this facility in May 2013. He had lived on his own until Jan 2013. They have a waiting list, so we used sitters until we could get in. My father has thrived there! I have spent many hours there and have gotten to know the residents and staff! They ALL are doing it RIGHT! My father loves it there and they love him. My only regret is that we didn't find them sooner! They not only care for their residents, they care for the family as well!

The rooms were very nice. It was very homey and I liked that it had a bright and cheerful atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It looked like they had a lot of activities for the clients there, like field trips and people coming in to educated the residents. I would recommend them to others.
