"I have observed residents at Edgewood Vista occasionally for over two years while assisting seniors evaluate and select Medicare Part D Prescription Drug coverage. I believe the facility is a well run, professional and pleasant institution with exceptionally caring staff. "

"My husband has been in Rolling Hills Healthcare for two years now. It's clean. Most of the staff is quite friendly and caring. I don't have any complaints, except for the cost and then the distance from me, if I could afford it, I would keep him there. He's made friends there. It could use a remodeling. It's pretty good, but it's getting a little worn out. They have bingo, other games like trivia, they have music trivia and other kinds of trivia. They have parties like a St. Patrick's Day party, or every holiday, which is nice. They enjoyed that. They have birthday celebrations once a month and then they bring in cake and punch, or whatever. They have two different kinds of churches. They have a Catholic service, that's weekly, and then they also have a Christian service, where a couple of ladies come in and sing and have their church. They have some activities, very few because of the COVID thing, where they bring kids in to sing, or have a little program, or decorate the windows. But lately, the kids haven't been able to come inside. For Halloween, they have a good deal for costumes, and it seems like they always have little things for the residents. On Cinco de Mayo, they had big hats, sombreros, and for St. Patrick's they had little hats for that, and they always have little extras. I think they do pretty well. My husband just thinks the food is wonderful. He said almost everything is really good."

"My father has been at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center for almost 6 months now. He had physical therapy, but he's out of physical therapy now, so he's walking on his own with a walker. He is in a shared room, but he doesn't have anybody in there with him right now. The staff there is great. It is a wonderful place and we love it. They have an activity room and they do a lot in there with them. I've tried the food and it is good. They have bingo. They have other things they do. I go see him regularly and he puts a lot of puzzles together. They supply him with research books and he does those all the time."

"I loved this place... right in the middle of things in down town rapid city so there is a lot to do... lots of shops and restaurants nearby and of course regional health's main hospital is only a mile away which is really comforting in case there is ever a need... I really liked that fact a lot. Staff was so sweet and the place is super cute. "

The administration has always listen to any random concerns we have and addressed them immediately. When we see other residents they look happy, and well cared for. They are doing everything right."

"I toured Good Samaritan Society - Echo Ridge. I toured the independent living, but they told me they also have assisted living in a separate wing. It's like in a separate area of the facility. Their food was good. They were very friendly. I got to eat with one of the residents. All of the residents were very nice. They would come up to me and say how much they liked living there and that kind of thing, so I was very pleased. I liked how friendly everybody was. It's the best thing. They were wonderful. I had a meatloaf, a baked potato, veggies, and an ice cream, and the food was good basic home cooking. It was very tasty. It was a full-course meal. The structure of the building was very nice. It seemed like the kitchens had everything that you needed. The rooms were nice and large, and they were all very clean. So that was good. I felt welcomed and the atmosphere was very friendly. They had the best prices. Each apartment does not have its own individual porch, but they have a courtyard that everybody can use, so it's still very, very nice. I think it's a good deal for the price."

"I like Fairmont Grand Senior Living, but my father is not ready to go to a retirement home. The staff were very informative. The food was good. It's nutritious and healthy, and they're all cooked right at the site. They have a gym, a salon, and a really nice area that offers coffee and snacks."

"Westhills Village is top-notch. Everything is nice. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful and open-minded. She took us around to see anything we wanted to look at. We saw aerobics in the swimming pool. They showed us the shop where they have all their power tools and stuff like that. They have a large library and activity rooms. It was well laid out."

"My husband has moved in at Morningstar Assisted Living Center and he's doing very well. The staff is fantastic. It's like being at home. My husband's room is large and more than adequate for his needs. It's a gated community. They have exercise time and game time every day, and entertainment once a week. My husband says the food is very good. What I like most about this place is they treat the residents as family."

"Edgewood Rapid City was beautiful. It was very nice. The people were very friendly. I was impressed because the lady I was with who was giving me the tour knew the names of all the residents that she encountered. When we were walking through the place, she would call out the people by name and she knew what was going on with them. So it's very personal and very caring. The staff was wonderful. The building was very clean and very nice. It's very welcoming. They're very friendly. I have bad arthritis in my knees, and it was hard for me to walk, so the staff took me around in a wheelchair, and that was very nice. That's special."
