I like Fairmont Grand Senior Living, but my father is not ready to go to a retirement home. The staff were very informative. The food was good. It's nutritious and healthy, and they're all cooked right at the site. They have a gym, a salon, and a really nice area that offers coffee and snacks.

I went to Fairmont Grand Senior Living. I like it because it's smaller. The distance from the rooms to the dining hall was short because sometimes the elderly people are not able to go as far, with their walkers. It was just a nice facility, and the staff seemed very nice. I like the rooms. They were decent-sized, you didn't feel like you were in a little tiny shoe box. I like the facility. It would have been my choice if they could have worked it out.

I went to Fairmont Grand Senior Living. I did not care for it. It just wasn't the right place for my mom. The staff was very nice. I believe they have activities and some amenities. The studio apartments didn't have their own shower, so there was a big bathroom area with shower and tub. It just wasn't going to work for my mom to have to go down the hall and shower. Some of the rooms have individual showers, but not all of them. It looks very tired, even though they had just done carpet and paint. It's just an older facility.
