My dad is in Fountain Springs Healthcare Center for rehab. I liked their physical therapy. The staff that we met seemed very helpful and very nice, and they've been accommodating for my dad. I talked to his nurse and his social worker. They have games and entertainment. When he's out of rehab, he's eligible to go outside, to go shopping, or to take tours or something like that.

My father has been at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center for almost 6 months now. He had physical therapy, but he's out of physical therapy now, so he's walking on his own with a walker. He is in a shared room, but he doesn't have anybody in there with him right now. The staff there is great. It is a wonderful place and we love it. They have an activity room and they do a lot in there with them. I've tried the food and it is good. They have bingo. They have other things they do. I go see him regularly and he puts a lot of puzzles together. They supply him with research books and he does those all the time.

My mother was a patient here for a few weeks and the staff made her feel at home. They were attentive to her needs and at no time did she feel like a burden. The PT/OT staff were completely focused on getting her better so she could go back to being as independent as possible. When visiting, at no time did I feel like she was being neglected. Would very much recommend this facility to anyone looking for short term rehab.

Fountain Springs Healthcare Center is close to me, so I'm able to visit my mom every day. We don't have too many places in this area that's close. I liked it because it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. It's nursing and rehab, and she's been there for 3 weeks now. I know they're a little bit low on staff, because of what's going on with COVID and all that, but I feel that they've given my mother very good care there. There's not a lot of variety when it comes to food, but my mother is a picky eater, anyway. She hasn't been eating because of the medication that she's been taking. She doesn't have a very good appetite. She does physical therapy every day to keep her going to get her out of bed. She has been in bed for a long time, so physical therapy is helping her to get up and walk around and all that. It's very quiet there, it's kind of a dead-end street, and it's not in a real busy neighborhood. It's pretty close for me because I can take the freeway and it's only maybe 20 minutes from here. It's a really good location.

Rooms are never clean. My father fell almost every day. Most of the staff seemed defeated. I have no idea how their online rating is this high, terrible place. They really don't seem to care for the residents. Nursing staff just going through the motions. I would strongly not recommend leaving a loved one here. Food might have been OK.

My parents stayed at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center. It's not very clean. It didn't feel like they cared about the people staying there that much. It seemed like they were understaffed on the nursing side. Every day my dad fell there. My mom fell and broke her hip there. I just didn't feel like they were getting the proper care. The rooms were dirty and not very warm. They were more clinical. They had to share a bathroom with another room. I didn't see any amenities. I think the food was good, but I never ate there. It was not a very warm environment. I did not see any activities. They had a beauty shop and an outdoor pavilion, but we never used them.

My wife is staying at Fountain Springs Healthcare Center and it is very, very good, but it's also very expensive. It's $317 a day, which is pretty high. She's still in therapy now so it could still drop down to $273, but that is still $8,200 a month. I would love to keep her there but I can't sustain that for very long at that price. She is getting excellent care there though, there is no doubt about that. The room she is in right now is not particularly nice for a long term, so I might have her move to a different room. Medicare will no longer pay for that so I can probably get a nicer room now that I am paying for it. The food has been excellent, they're feeding her really well. They also give her snacks. I was with her the other day to eat lunch and she had a very good lunch. It was pulled pork with tater tots, parsleyed carrots, and a cookie for dessert. It was really good. I haven't seen too much of the food there but I have heard from others, and I understand that the blueberry pancakes for breakfast were excellent too.
