"I toured Ashton Commons Senior Living. I thought it was beautiful. I had no complaints at all. We would have chosen that, it's just too expensive and they were not willing to compromise on the price. They gave promotional prices for May but they would not extend those promotional prices to August. The staff was friendly. The room was very nice, clean, and modern. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. The dining area is open when you first walk in, it's nice."

We are a family run, 24 hour adult care facility. We offer home cooked meals 3 times a day, group activities, crafts, in home hair stylist and many other things. "My mother-in-law is now at CrossRoads at Beaver Creek. It is all in one floor, so she doesn't have to use an elevator and that's very nice. The halls are wide; the traffic is easy. Her room is very generous. She has her own bathroom with a seated shower. They have a nice dining room facility. Everything is relatively new. It opened not long ago. It is very nice. I'm very happy for my mother-in-law. It seems very good. I haven't heard of any complaints with the staff. They are very responsive. We are having problems with my mother-in-law falling. She took a fall in the bathroom and they immediately had her checked into a local hospital. They were very attentive. My mother-in-law gets her medication faithfully and she is eating three meals a day. She is actually gaining weight because she is eating regularly now. I think they're doing a great job. They have a lot of activities, but my mother-in-law doesn't necessarily participate. I wish that she would and maybe after she adjusts to the environment, she will be more inclined to try that. They have games and music. They have different activities going everyday. My mother-in-law has made friends so she has not been reclusive. However, she is not happy with the food. She doesn't like the fact that they don't season anything (according to her). Nevertheless, I think CrossRoads at Beaver Creek is a great value."

"It is average. It's a nice setting in the country. The dining room is very average, and they probably have 50 to 100 residents. It's definitely rural with trees and a nice lake and patio in the back. "

"My father was at Beaver Meadows. It's part of St. Barnabas. It was good, I didn't have any problem, and they were responsive. I felt they took good care of my dad. The room he was in was nice. It was carpeted, and he had his own bathroom. I never ate the food there. He seemed OK with it. They always had bingo and they played a lot of bingo but my dad wasn't interested in that. Some of the staff members were excellent and some of them weren't so good. Sometimes my dad's room wasn't really clean. I never ate the food, so I had no idea."

"My mom moved into the Christian House two weeks ago. Once she was there, she's very happy to be with the person she's in. It's a very casual atmosphere there. The staff has been great. She likes the food. She usually complains about the food, but she likes the food and everyone who assisted her and her physical therapy. She has nothing but good things to say. She's in a two-person room. It's very large. It has a bed area and it has a separate bath that's attached to the room. There's also a visiting area, an informal area with the TV and recliners and chairs for visitors separate from the bed area. That's working out quite well. So far, she's happy. They have game time, people come in, entertainment comes in. They go on outings, go on shopping outings, and different visits. So once she's able to feel like traveling, there will be a lot of activities for her. They have a large area that used to be like the playgrounds of the school that was converted, and they have a large canopy over a seating area so they can have activities outside, visitation when it's nice, or they can do it inside. There is ample outside space for them to take advantage of. Her roommate needed a change in clocks and they came right in and took care of it. They've been accommodating with what my mom needs as far as getting around in the room, and so they've been very helpful for that as well."

"We have no problem with Continuing Healthcare of Lisbon at all. The layout is fine, the place is always clean, the staff is pleasant, and the care my husband has received is good. My husband says the food is good but not always very hot. They have activities like worship services, different holidays, and little parties. There's almost always something going on."

"My father is a resident of Woodland Hills Assisted Living. When I walked in it was very clean. They have good staff. I still see the same faces. I like the owner manager. She's really good. She is really friendly with all the guests. She is really personable with all of them. I don't see anybody drooling on themselves. It's not that crazy kind of institutional things, and that's what I like about it. It's small. They have like 15 residents. It's a really nice neighborhood. It's a nice place. They have a lot of word puzzle games, and they do a lot of television. My father does a lot of walking. He has only been there a little bit, but I see him better every day. The staff is good. I like all of them. They're all committed. I don't see any attitudes. They're just kind. And the place is super clean and put together. The room is nice. My father is in a private room, but it is set up for two. I was hoping he had a roommate, but they haven't gotten a roommate yet. They get their own closet area. It's really the nicest one I found and it's also the most inexpensive one I found that I looked at."

"We are considering this facility when my mother in-law is done with her 2-week extension for rehab. My mother is currently a resident of Cambridge and I've been there a lot of times. The place is clean and the staff is very helpful. My mom got a private room and she seems to be doing very well there. Her room may not be very large but it's large enough. She has a little 2 seat dinette in there and also her refrigerator and TV. She 's been there for 2 years. She joins in to the activities and they routinely check on her. The staff is very good to her and she feels very comfortable with them. My mother has dementia and I really think that she is happy living in Elmcroft. So I think that if we get this place for my mother in-law, I'm sure she'd be happy here too. "

"Supportive Services based in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania is a great program for people with Mental Health issues. It helped people learn everyday living skills and helped them with forming a plan to one day live again on their own. Supportive Services has many houses all over Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, New Brighton Pennsylvania and Ambridge Pennsylvania. Other than just group homes and assisted living facilities, they also have a personal care home for elderly patients. The staff is full of passionate people who love to help people in need and are very friendly, patient and helpful. "

"The home is not dirty and not depressing try living in the basement like I did at home.staff is nice and they do try to take care of us. Home owners are nice there work is very hard. That is why the staff do not stay long .this is not a bad place like its made out to be "

"They took great care of my grandmother and have amazing amenities that no other place in Beaver Co had, (or anywhere for that matter) like a Pub and restaruant style dining room. Even the bathing areas were beautiful. Nice rooms as well. Very clean, and staff were amazing. Great therapy. Fun activities. Would highly recommend. "
