My sister is a resident of Lakeview Personal Care Home. The workers all seem like they like their job. They were very attentive to her needs and my needs as a visitor. The place was pretty clean. She was making friends. Everybody seemed really friendly, meaning the residents. Her room is spacious. The view that she has she can watch, there's a pond. There's a really nice patio.

We toured Lakeview Personal Care Home. The outdoor was nice. The rooms with the windows looking outside, I thought, were very nice, so you didn't feel so cooped up. There were trees around, and I thought that was good. There were patios and places to be able to sit out there. They were doing some remodeling at the time, so those rooms were in better condition than the others. The lady running the tour was very good and helpful. However, they seemed to be a little short staffed. Most of the apartments were single or double rooms. They had a few apartment-types so that a husband and wife could be there together. There was an activity room where they had done art projects, there was a courtyard where they could go out and sit, and the dining area was OK. It was two floors, and they had an open elevator. However, when we asked if the room would be painted and holes patched and all that before my mom would move in, they couldn't say that it definitely would be so. The tour staff was good, but they didn't seem to be a lot of helpers around, and there was one that was sitting watching TV.

Lakeview Personal Care Home was in the process of updating all the rooms with paint and flooring. The administrator was very nice. There was a community room and a cafeteria. There was a bunch of women having a singalong. It seemed very clean. I didn't notice any urine smell. It seemed like everybody was happy.

My mother is now in Lakeview Personal Care Home. We had no issues with the move-in. The manager, Eric, drove an hour to get my mom because they have to evaluate her before they say, "Okay, yes, she can come to our place." I offered to go with him because it's a long drive back but he said there's no need and that he'll just bring her back. So that was nice. They were very helpful. It seems like a nice place, it's a personal care home and it seems clean. It's also reasonably priced, unlike a lot of other nursing homes, this is more like $2700 a month. It doesn't go up like some places where when the level of care goes up, the amount of money also goes up. This is a locked-in price that will not increase, which is very important. The room is a semi-private room. The only thing is you just have to knock because there's a room across that shares the bathroom in the middle that they both use. This place doesn't have an individual bathroom for each room. But it was still the better setup to give her some privacy and no one else can come in and room with her. The room that she's in is a little on the smaller side, but it's enough to accommodate her. There is an option for a private room, but it still doesn't have its own bathroom, and that's at $3800 instead of $2800. They have daily activities, they were playing cornhole today. They were playing bingo, they have a rec room, a rehab room, and a pretty large dining area. They encourage them to eat in the dining area so that they socialize a little and get a little bit of exercise. They have an outdoor courtyard, a beauty salon, and a library. The staff seems nice and the food is good.

The primary reason we chose Lakeview Personal Care Home for my dad was it was the first that became available. They had an available room when we needed it. Where the facility is located and some of its amenities also helped in our decision. He is in their assisted living and he just had an evaluation a week ago. I'm not sure how that turned out yet. He's been there a little over 3 weeks now. I haven't met much of the staff, other than the manager of the facility and the secretary. I just really met those two people and talked with the nurse on the phone and I'm good with all of them. We don't have any experience with activities yet. Because of COVID, he had to go into isolation, initially, so he's just been confined to his room. He's probably out now, but I don't have any experience with any of their programs yet. The place is in a nice country setting. They have their own lake there, which provides a place for picnics, fishing, cookouts, and that kind of stuff. Once the weather gets nice, they also have a room where you can have the family come and have special meals or parties like birthday parties. They have that facility available to them too. It's like a private dining room kind of thing.

We are moving my mother into Lakeview Personal Care Home. It was in her price range. The director was a really nice and personable guy. The apartments are nice and clean. They have bingo. It looked like they have something scheduled almost every day. They provide food. It's like restaurant style dining. They have a social room and a physical therapy room. They have a beautician who comes in once a week. There is a foot doctor and an eye doctor, who come in once a week as well. They're going to be getting a dentist too. There's a nice pond and a very large deck. It's a very nice place, and it is not overly priced.

If you do not care about your loved ones or just want them out of your hair, send them here. If you are looking for a place to work where they do not care how you treat the residents, send your resume here. Just a handful of the employees are rude to your face and lie about the residents to try and cover their own a***s. But enough to make you wonder about the overall care and consistency. The administrator Eric tries to butter up to you so much, that you look past the poor treatment. My heart hurts that I ever let my family member stay here. They truly were fake to your face just to try and get as much money out of you. Also they brushed over any issue we had and tried to ensure us it would be taken care of...which as you can guess was not the case most of the time. Also be prepared for off the wall comments from employees towards you. So if you have thin skin, maybe steer clear of conversations...

It is very good for my mom and we're really satisfied. The interior surroundings and the décor make it really homey. They have several activities. They have an activity room, a dining room, and a deck overlooking a lake where they can go outside. They offer three meals a day. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful. The private room is really nice, but the shared ones look a little bit crowded.

I placed my mom here, and they were very accommodating. It was small, I didn't want anything large, and it was close to my house. They have a whole calendar of activities like Bingo, balloons, Christian services, and they take them out to get ice cream. My mom likes the food, it's good, has a nice variety, and it's nutritional.

I found the place very family friendly. We visited my father in August with our whole family 4 adult children and 7 grand kids. They allowed us to gather with my father out on the patio overlooking their small lake. The nurses appeared to be very attentive checking on him several times while we were there.

It is average. It's a nice setting in the country. The dining room is very average, and they probably have 50 to 100 residents. It's definitely rural with trees and a nice lake and patio in the back.
