"Arkell Hall is a great facility. The staff is absolutely friendly and provides and incredible environment for those who live there. My grandmother has lived there for over 5 years now and has had nothing but great things to say about the facility. Outside of the facility there are various opportunities for a great landscape view and water fountain in which everyone can enjoy. I could not say a bad word about this facility for it is such a great part of the community and allows for a stable and friendly environment for everyone. "

"We have just put in our application for Judson Meadows, and they've accepted it, so my parents are going to be moving in there. We were given five to look at, and I went through the five, and I selected two that I thought were the best match for what they were looking for. They went and looked at Judson Meadows. My mom wanted to go to a place, in her words, where she didn't have to dress up for dinner. She thought the people there were people that she could relate to, and the big thing is it's right in the neighborhood they've lived in for about 51 years, so they're very familiar with the area. It's also right in between where I live and where my sister lives, making it very easy for both of us to drive. So, location was a big deal as well. They're friendly and very accommodating already. They're able to work with us, and we've gotten things done quickly. We really like the surroundings. It's far off the road, away from traffic, and situated in a nice rural area. It was spotless and very organized. What I really like is the atmosphere of happy interactions between residents and staff, just like a great environment."

"The staff at Home of the Good Shepherd was very nice. The level of care that is provided meets our needs. The residents themselves seemed to be very happy. The rooms are small and the communal meeting areas are small as well. In general, it was very clean. "

"My mother-in-law had been staying at Heritage Home for Women for over a month. The cost of the facility is cheaper compared to others in the area. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They let me know if something is wrong with her or if she needed something. Doctors also came to check on the residents.They had different activities everyday. "

"I thought this was an excellent facility with great care. My grandparents started in a 2-bedroom apartment with many extra amenities to help them. My grandmother received personalized care as her illness progressed, and she was eventually transferred to a 24-hr hospice room before she passed. My grandfather's supervision was slowly increased until he was moved into a 24-hr care room. The staff was incredibly nice and the physicians very knowledgable. They had many great perks, including a Wii bowling team that my grandfather was a member of. "

"Home of the Good Shepherd is spotless, and the rooms are spacious. They have a whole bulletin board of activities at different times during the day. We saw ladies playing games in one of the common rooms. They had a library, but their common rooms were not that large."

"My husband is in Ingersoll Place. It is a smaller facility compared to where he was but the care is very good. The reason I chose this facility is because of the size of the building. It is just very pleasant. "

"My mom was a resident of Valley Residential Services. They had their actual apartments. They couldn't cook in their room, so all they had was a microwave. They didn't have full kitchens but they did have a sink if they did dishes and stuff like that. They could eat in their rooms but they offer a dining room where they are served like you're in the restaurant every day. It was clean. They had people if you couldn't clean your apartments. They come in and clean up for you and check up on you. They took care of your stuff for you. We used to have dinners there like on the holidays, they let everybody come in. If I wanted to have breakfast or lunch, they had a fee of $5 and you could eat with them. It's like home cooking. You order off the menu and get what you want. They had everything. They have wonderful people that keep them busy with a lot of things."

"My tour at Glen Eddy was good. But since my mother's not ambulatory, I didn't like the layout of the place. The staff who gave the tour was fine. My mother was not ambulatory and she was like focusing on aspects of the place that really wouldn't apply to my mother. Like she would show me the walking path, my mother is never going to go on the walking path I explained that to her, but it didn't seem to register. I saw the dining area, it looked clean but I didn't try their food. I also saw physical therapy, which I thought was good. I saw a pool and an art room, and I saw them cooking there. They have everything and I like the security that they had there. They let you opt out of the food plan if you want to opt out. You don't get a whole lot of money back, it's like $200 a month if you opt out, which isn't a whole lot, but at least they give you the option. The apartments and the facility itself were beautiful."

"Glen Eddy was the nicest facility that we've found; that is why we chose this facility. The place is very clean. I can say the rooms are very good, but not great. They had very nice people that were very helpful and accommodating. It was geographically convenient for us. "

"I was very impressed by the Wesley community center. It is located near the hospital and depending on your health/abilities, you can have an apartment in which you are completely independent, or one where there is a nurse who can visit you if you have health issues.The apartments are very nice, with kitchens and living rooms- they really feel quite homey. They are a decent size and seem manageable for someone who has moved from a house into he facility.There is also a public dining area where you can eat meals every day, and a gym to work out. There are planned activities every day if you choose to join, and field trips you can sign up for.The feel from the staff is very warm and the residents genuinely seem neighborly and friendly.In fact, quite a few of them are local and have known each other for a long time!It seems a good compromise for a wide range of people with different health need and concerns- but all can be cared for here. "

"My mom will move into Woodlawn Commons in a week or so. I liked the quality buildings, quality staff, and it's close to my home, as a son. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and caring. They have all the services and amenities that you would expect in a quality assisted living facility, a staff that cares, and access to enrichment activities. They have a beauty salon. They have an entertainment room. They have a very nice courtyard."
