"Arkell Hall is a great facility. The staff is absolutely friendly and provides and incredible environment for those who live there. My grandmother has lived there for over 5 years now and has had nothing but great things to say about the facility. Outside of the facility there are various opportunities for a great landscape view and water fountain in which everyone can enjoy. I could not say a bad word about this facility for it is such a great part of the community and allows for a stable and friendly environment for everyone. "

"Judson Meadows Assisted Living is a welcoming place. The staff has been friendly and cooperative. My husband is in a studio. It has an attached small kitchen area and a bathroom. Their dining area is pleasant and has a warm atmosphere. They got excellent food. He's a vegan and they have been very accommodating to that. They have a beautician for the women and they do some gardening outside. Cleanliness has been excellent, too. It's a good choice."

"I've just had my mother in Home of the Good Shepherd about two months now. I like the atmosphere of this place. The people are very friendly. The staff there is really nice too. They're very attentive and very nice to everybody. They're very good actually. The nurses are able to take care of my mom 24/7. I haven't heard any complaints about them. They have plenty of activities all day long. They do bingo, different arts, etc. My mom doesn't do any of that stuff but she plays the piano for them. They have a grand piano in their dining area. My mom has an apartment. It doesn't have a kitchen area and it's a little small but for what she needs, it's okay. The price is good. Everything is included and that's a big factor for us. Overall, my mom is doing okay in this facility. "

"My mother-in-law had been staying at Heritage Home for Women for over a month. The cost of the facility is cheaper compared to others in the area. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They let me know if something is wrong with her or if she needed something. Doctors also came to check on the residents.They had different activities everyday. "

"The Home of the Good Shepherd on Church St. in Saratoga Springs has gone above and beyond my expectations of care for my elderly parents. They take the time to get to know their residents and their families. They are caring and focus on each person and their specific and unique needs. Residents and visitors are greeted warmly with smiles and hugs. The employees are happy which in turn makes for a friendly environment. I love the fact that the residents wear their own clothes and have their own furniture. The visiting hours are open which is very convenient. And, I am continually blown away by the meaningful activities offered every day. There is a beautiful outdoor courtyard for walks and fresh air. The meals are prepared with residents needs taken into consideration. A truly wonderful place!"

"I thought this was an excellent facility with great care. My grandparents started in a 2-bedroom apartment with many extra amenities to help them. My grandmother received personalized care as her illness progressed, and she was eventually transferred to a 24-hr hospice room before she passed. My grandfather's supervision was slowly increased until he was moved into a 24-hr care room. The staff was incredibly nice and the physicians very knowledgable. They had many great perks, including a Wii bowling team that my grandfather was a member of. "

"My mother was in Wesley. I liked that they were very caring, and the food looked very good. The rooms were OK, like hospital rooms, but you could bring your own personal belongings like a TV. They were renovating the whole building at the time. They had a lot of activities like outings, manicures, drawingclasses, birthday parties, and more "

"My mom will move into Woodlawn Commons in a week or so. I liked the quality buildings, quality staff, and it's close to my home, as a son. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and caring. They have all the services and amenities that you would expect in a quality assisted living facility, a staff that cares, and access to enrichment activities. They have a beauty salon. They have an entertainment room. They have a very nice courtyard."

"My husband is in Ingersoll Place. It is a smaller facility compared to where he was but the care is very good. The reason I chose this facility is because of the size of the building. It is just very pleasant. "

"My mom was a resident of Valley Residential Services. They had their actual apartments. They couldn't cook in their room, so all they had was a microwave. They didn't have full kitchens but they did have a sink if they did dishes and stuff like that. They could eat in their rooms but they offer a dining room where they are served like you're in the restaurant every day. It was clean. They had people if you couldn't clean your apartments. They come in and clean up for you and check up on you. They took care of your stuff for you. We used to have dinners there like on the holidays, they let everybody come in. If I wanted to have breakfast or lunch, they had a fee of $5 and you could eat with them. It's like home cooking. You order off the menu and get what you want. They had everything. They have wonderful people that keep them busy with a lot of things."

"I have moved my mom to Marjorie Doyle Rockwell back in December. It's been very good. The staff is the reason I chose it because they have a very caring bunch. They are very concerned with establishing good relations with the residents by being helpful as possible. They have a lot of training for the staff on how to treat the residents, memory care, and how that works. More importantly than my opinion, my mother says they are very kind. She is not that easy to get along with, so I'm sure they are very patient. From the ones that I have seen, it is one of the smaller places for memory care patients. I think that is important because in a very large setting, people might feel lost as they move about in the facility. It is kind of small, intimate, and very expensive. I think the food could use a little improvement, but I know that is difficult. It is close to being the best if not one of the best. "
