"The tour I had at Brookdale Panama City was very good. That particular place is more locked down. In other words, you can't even go in unless somebody lets you in, and you cannot go out unless somebody lets you out. I sort of understand why because it's on a relatively busy road, and so for safety and security, it's more locked down. The apartments were very much like the other place I toured. They have a small room with a kitchenette, a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, a small living area, and a bedroom. It's very similar but more lockdown. They serve three meals a day."

"Charter Senior Living of Panama City Beach was very nice. They were in the process of having a little fair. They were decorating for Thanksgiving, too, and it was nice. The building was convenient looking. It was like having their own apartment, so that was very nice. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. She looked very busy but very personable. We checked the dining area, and that was nice. But we didn't check the food. The room was very nice, too."

"There is a lot to like about Superior Residences of Panama City Beach. If I have to go, that would probably be the one I would go to because it is more open. Some of the residents were sitting on the front porch. Some were in the large area where you first go in. It is an open place, which I like. Actually, some people think that's a hotel because that's what it looks like. The apartments were a little small, but that's probably standard. When you go into a room, there is a little kitchenette with a refrigerator and a microwave. Then you go a little further in, and there is like a small living room where you could have a sofa, a TV, and a chair, and then, there's the bedroom. It is all open. Of course, there is an accessible bathroom. You could actually roll a wheelchair into the shower It is a large place. It's three stories. They have an exercise room, game rooms, and what they call a wine room, where they serve a small glass of wine if they want. They can play games there. There are some private rooms, too, if they want to have a birthday party. It's the members' private area. The dining room is very nice and large. It's an excellent place."

"I toured Summer's Landing. It seems like a good place and clean. They showed me the room I was supposed to be getting. Everything seems nice, and I think I'm going to like it. I thought I was going to have a small refrigerator, but they don't have that. They say they supply cable, but of course, you have to bring your own TV and everything. Jasmine was very helpful and nice. They say they have three meals a day and they take your laundry. On July 4th, Jasmine invited me to come by to taste the food, and the food was fine. It was good. There's an area to sit outside. It's a single-story community. There's no balcony, and it's pretty small."

"Spacious apartments, staff is caring and attentive to individual needs. My parents get physical therapy several times each week. Lots of fun activities during the week, including swimming during the summer. Food is great, especially catfish Fridays!"
