"This is a brand new facility in Northeast Arkansas. The facility is architecturally beautiful with phenomenal furnishings and a very peaceful atmosphere. It is incredibly well maintained with a very warm and inviting feel upon entering. The staff make an effort to greet me by name and make me feel very comfortable. They are all very kind and professional. The food is above average in my opinion as well. Guests are always welcome and two formal dining rooms are available for families that want to come have a meal with a resident. On occasion, the food has left something to be desired, but on the whole, it is very well prepared with appropriate portions. Residents have access to lounge areas, exercise equipment, physical therapy if necessary and a chapel area as well as a range of other amenities. It is truly a phenomenal place for anyone that does not need to live at home any longer. "

"We've found over the years that Sunshine Manor is a really good facility. My mother has been there for about five years now. They do a good job taking care of their people. They know all the people, they care for their residents, and they do everything. The accommodations just met my mom's needs. She was able to get a room with its own bathroom, and also it had a good-sized closet. The price was pretty reasonable. We were happy with that. The food is good. I eat lunch and supper with my mom, and I'm pleased with their meals. I would give them a good rating for their meals. I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for an assisted living in that area. "

"In the beginning, my mother was in the independent living in St. Bernards Village for a couple of years and then I moved her to the other part which was the assisted living part. The independent living had one dining room and the assisted living had one dining room. Once in a while they got together for activities in the largest dining room. It was furnished beautifully. Although the food was nothing to write all about, it was tolerable sometimes. The staff was very nice. "

"I toured The Bungalows at Jonesboro for my mom, and it was very good. They were nice and accommodating. They have a nice courtyard, a nice community area, and a dining room. They also have activities, a hairdresser, and a salon. They have a courtyard in the middle of the facility and a lot of the units we're facing towards it. You can go out in the courtyard and still be inside of the facility."

"St. Bernards Villa was beautiful. It was decorated contemporary with a little bit of Southwestern flare. They had a movie theater and a spa where you could get massage and swim in the pool. I was hoping that my mother was going to go there, but she ended up in the nursing home instead. "
