I came here on June 18, 2021 after surgery for a broken hip sustained after a fall. This was a HUGE transition for me as I was accustomed to independent living prior thereto. Today, is August 29, 2021 as I’m writing this. I’m 71 yrs old. HOWEVER, at 71, I had a busy life with my grandchildren, & other activities. I’m in a relationship & he & I enjoyed trips to casinos, Branson & we loved to go dancing as we LOVE music. Woodland Hills has an excellent all-around staff from Housekeeping, CNA’s to Nurses. The Administrator, John (I can’t remember his last name) is ALWAYS READILY available to personally discuss ANY & all issues you may have. I plan to go home after I feel comfortable enough that I can walk properly after my broken hip injury. I will recommend Woodland Hills to anyone. Deborah West

My experience with Woodland Hills center was overall a good one. My mother had a stroke last year and she needed short term rehabilitation for basic skills that were erased from her memory by the stroke. Mom needed to relearn simple skills like eating, dressing, and walking. The staff at Woodland hills was wonderful. EVERYONE treated my Mom like she was their own Mom from day one. The entire staff from the dieticians to the nurses were very compassionate and caring. Mom loved them and we still keep in contact with most of the people there today. The facility was state of the art and very clean, beautiful, and spacious. The rooms were large with private restrooms. There was an outdoor garden that Mom loved and the environment was always welcoming and cheerful. . .never depressing. The facility also provided emotional support to me, my Mom and my family. Overall, the experience was good under the circumstances, and I would reccommend this facility to any one who has a need for either short or long term assisted living.
