My mom was at Woodcrest Assisted Living. It's a retirement community. They have a nurse on staff on each shift, and the care is minimal. You've got to be kind of independent still to live there. The experience was good. She was just too far gone, really, to live there. She was too much of an elopement risk. She was always too antsy, and she made the folks who work there nervous because she was always walking around, looking out the door, and they thought she was going to make a jump for it. It was really nice, though. I wish she could have stayed there, and I wish it would have worked out. It was a really nice place. I love to go up there and eat meals with her. They have good food. They have clean rooms. They have really nice apartments. They have studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. They have some different options. I thought the interaction with the staff was really good. I thought it was top-notch. My mom didn't need more care, but it's just that her mental faculties weren't really good enough for her to be there. Her personality kind of just conflicted with what they wanted there. It was a really nice place, and I recommend it for anybody who needs that kind of assisted living.

We moved into Woodcrest Assisted Living. We love it. It is lovely, and I have no complaints. We have been here a month. It is very nice and beautiful. The services are wonderful. We are so happy. They all seem to love their job. We have a 2-bedroom deluxe apartment. It is very nice and very pretty. We have housekeeping. We have everything that we need here. Most of the food is good, but weekends are not as good as during the week. We have different cooks, and it is different food. We have activities every day, from exercises to bingo. We have a library, and we have laundry facilities. They have a van for transportation, if you need it. We're OK with all of that.
