My friend of more than 20 years resides at this home. I was worried he wouldn't be given the care he deserved. The first day i walked in I was greeted with kindness from the owner. I am from out of state. I was happy to see my friend enjoying activities on the living room. His smile relieved all my worries. This home exceeded all my hopes for him. Clean, friendly, and just a good example of good ole kindness I have seen a lack of! He told me of the kind employees and fun times he gets to experience. It's been years since I've seen him and am so thrilled he is happy in this wonderful place. My heart goes out to all who works here....thank you for all u do for our wonderful Arizona residents in their last days. To the owners....I am grateful you take such pride in loving our community's elders. Good job! I would send my mother here and that says alot!

My Mom arrived at Granite View four months ago and told me that she really liked the facility and the people. She advised that the caregivers were so nice and compassionate and that she really felt comfortable at the home. I have had many interactions with the staff and was always given information and assistance the moment I asked for it. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a small home for their loved ones. This home made me feel as if my Mom had a home away from home. The staff encourages the residence to get out of their rooms and eat together or sit outside on the covered porch.

I am grateful that I was referred to the Granite View Adult Care Home when looking for a small care home for my mother. The owner and staff are compassionate and caring providing a nurturing, safe environment. They have also been helpful to me during a very stressful time and keep me informed. The caregivers are skilled and kind handling my mother’s dementia behavior, and she is content. Would highly recommend.

The staff isn't friendly, I could feel tension in the house shorty after I walked in. I happened to be there at meal time and seen them dumping old food out of plastic bags and reheating it in the microwave. I also noticed more food in a bag sitting on the counter looked frozen, for another meal I'm assuming. They said all their food is precooked then reheated. I don't know about you but fresh food has always tastes better to me. The residents seemed to be very unsocial just sitting around like zombies. I'm not happy with what I've seen here. Not the worst place I have heard of, but not where I want to end up.

Facility is very impressive in a great surrounding area of granite boulders all around. The grounds are immaculate. I decided to wonder about by myself as if I was visiting someone, instead of a tour. The place was very clean and neat. However, I felt that the planned organization and schedualing of events was very detailed. It was very structured and there was always something to do. It would definetly tire me - I like a more leisured pace and some privacy. The residents are very much encouraged to participate in as many activities as they can. I even heard a couple of the residents say to each other how tired they were. If a person likes type of environment that is busy, busy, busy then this is the place for her/him.
