I visited Avista Payson. The facility itself is beautiful, and they seem to have a lot of activities, but we felt that my mom needed more care than they could provide. The staff seemed very nice. The rooms were pretty large. The dining area looked very pleasant and had lots of sunshine coming in. It appeared quite clean. They had an outdoor area.

It was very clean and smelled fresh. Everybody was friendly. The rooms were all updated. Everything and everyone were super nice. The staff answered all my questions and gave me paperwork to take back. She was very knowledgeable. Everybody looked like they were enjoying their lunch when I was there. They were watching the Olympics in the main room and enjoying that. The people were just walking around or were in their wheelchairs.

The level of compassion and knowledge the employees have here is amazing! After a lot of searching and research the choice was easy. Not only are my siblings and I completely satisfied, but most importantly my Mother felt right at home her first day.
