"The Payson care center is old and established, The center is large and has a good variety of staff, My grandfather stayed here towards the end of his life and he enjoyed it very much. He loved the care center and enjoyed the food and the nice climate of Payson. His room was small but cozy and they allowed visitors on a regular basis. Overall the care center was very nice and offered a large variety of activities and events for the seniors and guests. The food was standard American fare but it had a very home cooked feel about it which appealed to the seniors. The staff were friendly and called my parents to give them a progress report for my grandfather and always made us feel like family. Overall I would recommend this care facility to anyone who wants there loved one at a good facility in a good climate. "

"This is a skilled and indepent nursing facility. It is all one story. The building is well maintained and the grounds very nice. There is grass, trees and lots of flowers in the central courtyard. There are walking and sitting areas. The independent living apartments are one bedroom and studios. They are all newly remodeled and some have new kitchenettes. They have an emergency phone service which connects them to the main facility.The apartments are nice and open onto the central courtyard. These apartments are available on a month to month or seasonal rate. All utilities are included and cable. The skilled nursing is fully equipped for care of skilled loc residents, cancer, and hospice. They also have a behavioral unit for those over 55 who have need of this care. They have a full nursing staff with nurses, therapists, activities director, and certified nursing assistants. All therapies physical, occupational, and speech are available. There are doctors who come in.In the independent apartments home health and other visiting nurse services are available as well.They can arrange transport for appointments. The staff is very helpful and caring. They offer three meals a day served in their dining room. Housekeeping is available on a weekly basis. They have many available activities which the independent residents can participate in the main nursing building.They have a bus which transports to the senior center.They go to outings and events as shopping, movies, restaurants, and the yearly rodeo. This is a nice facility. "
