"My dad has been staying in AristaCare at Norwood Terrace for months. The personnel there are all qualified. They're all skilled and very good when they have time, but they're understaffed and my dad could wait over an hour to get help when he needed to go to the bathroom (and that's true for all the people staying there). Instead of waiting for help, people who shouldn't be moving on their own will get desperate and get out of bed and risk a fall. In fact, during the months that my dad was there, he fell at least two times because nobody came to help him and he had to help himself. If I could give them negative stars for treatment, I would. It's been horrible. He lost about 25% of his body weight. The kitchen is terrible. They don't even get the meals right. We order things on the menu and he gets different things. This is not just the fault of these individual nursing home rehab centers. This is the way the system is working right now."

"Happy Days is located in the downtown area where everything is only like three blocks from city hall and Lincoln Park is right across. The citizens have a chance to get out and get some air in the park where the security can see them. If there are some functions going on in the summer time, they'll be able to enjoy in the park. If they don't have anyone to come and take them out, it's right across the street. There are ramps for patients who are not able to walk to the first stop light from the building. It's very convenient if you have a problem with getting around. The only thing is that Broad Street is a wide business street. It's a very nice building and it's high rise, maybe about 10 stories. They have nice facilities for the patients. They have a day care room. The living quarters and the hallway are very clean. It has good security in and out. The staff is very professional. They have activities for the residents and they also have a nurse on premises. If you have a medical problem, you're going to have to ring the bell and someone will be there waiting for you. Everything you need is right there. It's not a facility where they serve you. A lot of residents are able to cook their own food. My friend who lived there cooked. "

"Transportation is really bad, the males do their jobs, but not the females, they don't like to get off the bus and constantly using their Mobil/ phones. No point complaining as they will say to you "we never had a complaint about such person" of course most of the clients are either too sick or too old, how can you expect them to complain, those that still one whole piece will never be treated that way. Also I called twice/ in different occasions of course, to the person who enrolled my mom/as it was kind of late, when we went there and she did not return my phone call not even a day after I called her. my mom left there last week and still my phone call was never returned. "

"I toured Sea View Hospital Rehabilitation Center And Home. They have enough staff to take care of their residents. The building was very old and dated, but they kept it up very nicely. "My mother has been at Egers for the last 2 years. She is on the 8th floor and is getting excellent care. We visit at random times and days, she is always clean and happy. She loves the different activities they provide. At her age of 94 it's important that sh have some quality in her life and Egers staff provides that. "
