I am a past client of this provider
We used Home Helpers Home Care for my mother-in-law. They were very nice at first, and as far as I know, we had every shift covered because they only did it at night. However, we chose not to continue with them. When my mother-in-law was coming out of the hospital, I was only able to give them a 24-hour notice because that's all I had from the hospital, and they were not able to staff her with that notice. And not all their staff had a TB test which was required by the assisted living home she was going back to temporarily. The rate that they had charged us was changed rather substantially. We had agreed to $23, then they started at $28, and then they said that she needed $32, so it was disconcerting enough for me to say I didn't want to move forward with them.

They assist me with bath, changing of bed covers and other light house keeping. They also take me to hair cut and doctor's appointments. They inform ahead if who is coming and if the aide will be running late.

Excellent. Staff were very caring and committed to my brother-in-law, especially during his current last weeks and days. We always focus on the fact that we are on your schedule, so our Care Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! There is no long term commitment, with no minimum number of hours of service required.

Our caregivers are extensively trained to promote quality care. Our Caregivers daily tasks may include an array of activities, such as:
- Personal Care (Bathing, Grooming, Incontinence Care, Dressing)
- Companionship Care (Socialization, Activities, Stimulation)

Our Caregiving Team
We have Registered Nursing Supervisors on staff and every caregiver is extensively screened. Our care is delivered by Certified Nursing Assistants, PCA's and Companion Caregivers along with training to include:
- Criminal background check, driving records, drug screening
- Bonded, Licensed and Insured
- Trainings include: orientation to new clients, hospice care, alzheimer's, dementia, stroke, ALS, care & comfort, recuperative care, continuing care, fall prevention, emergency preparedness and caregiver stress reduction.
Regardless if you need care around the clock, live in, one hour a day, ten or fifty hours a week, caregiver respite, we look forward to speaking with you to discuss our goal of "Making Life Easier"....We can be there, when and if you cannot, treating your loved one like family, by a caregiver that you get to meet first prior to our caregiver services being provided (optional)....Our In-Home Care Consultations are Free!
