We currently have ameriCARE Richmond to help my mom. For the time being, we have one person coming for 4 hours on Wednesdays, and she helps my mom take a shower and wash her hair. That was the biggest reason to get them because I was just concerned about her needing help in the shower. We've even done a little cooking when we have time, and it has worked out fine. The girl who normally comes on Wednesday was sick, so an alternative was sent to fill in. She was quite nice and everything went smoothly. The company seems to be doing a good job of keeping in touch and letting us know what's going on. The caregivers are good. No complaints, so far. They're doing what we asked them to do and they're doing a good job.
