The aide comes on time and my husband is on the lookout, and he would be upset if he was not there. They worked diligently to meet my request for a male aid and I felt like a male would work better with my husband and they fulfilled that.

I am disabled and have really bad arthritis, so getting around is really difficult. Doing certain chores is really hard, so getting those done for me really helps. Just one caregiver usually comes and she is very good and has taken care of me for a long time. She can improve on asking me if I need something.

It is a relief for me because I have my mom every day. She depends on me, and the caregiver is a perfect match and resembles a family member. It gives my mother a sense of comfort and familiarity. I like that this agency has been very responsive and would send somebody out to take care of the needs.

I would not have been able to go away if we had not had this service. My husband loved them. They did things the way that he wanted them done and they helped out in the kitchen.

Thank you First Light for accommodating me so quickly for assistance in transportation for a surgery requiring someone to stay the entire time. A big shout out to Linh for being such a prompt, warm, and friendly care giver - she was a joy to work with and it was such a pleasant experience!

I've basically been home-bound with her for four years, so anytime I can get a break, it is good. They're very flexible, and if something comes up I can call them and schedule them in advance. They're also flexible on what care we need, such as a four-hour visit or a weekend.

Ashley, our main caregiver, has made us feel very comfortable. She cleans and facilitates meals, and it makes things easier on me. When I met the nurse to do an evaluation, she did a great job and also made me feel at ease. I like the people and the website - it's easy to see the calendar and care plan.

They were nice, and they did the home care, but sometimes they didn't show up. I would have liked to see them improve on their reliability, because sometimes they wouldn't show up for physical therapy.

They just helped out. You are doing things you don't normally deal with, and they helped. They did everything. We weren't sure about what to do, and they came in. Beth was fantastic and seemed to care.
