She really looks forward to her caregiver and talking with her. She enjoys spending time with her. She has been at ease with her since the first day, which is great. The only issue I had is I feel there have been one hiccup between corporate and local. I got a call from corporate after 11 and that wasn't cool.

We often didn't know if the caregivers were coming or not, some days they won't show up. Our caregivers would give themselves breaks and just sit on their cell phones and play games.

She is my transportation to the doctors. She brings me food from the grocery store. She picks up my lunch and I couldn't live without her. When Visiting Angels increased their rates and they didn't increase the employee's pay as they promised. I was perfectly happy with my person, but I just didn't feel their pay scale was adequate for her.

My mom felt safe with them and I felt safe leaving her with them. I like them because they were very professional and they took excellent care of my mother.

They need to have the personnel stay on the job. We had some turnover of personnel two or three weeks ago that was not pleasant.

We had two different people that couldn't do the hours we needed, but the agency found us a young woman caregiver and he enjoyed her so much. She would do anything that we asked her to. This particular branch is very good. My husband has a slight case of dementia and Parkinson's. He has had some falls. He wasn't supposed to be left alone, so Visiting Angels have been helping him. I am appreciative of what they have done for him.

They gave my mom individual care when we couldn't. It gave us a sense of comfort. I liked that they were helpful, kind and more than just a business transaction. They really cared about her and the situation she was in and that we were in. It didn't feel like a business relationship. It felt like a friend relationship.

Since I don't live in the same city as my mother, it made it so we didn't have to worry about her. I thought everybody was kind and nice. They cared about my mother. They helped me pack when we discontinued services. They would let me help my mother when I wanted to.

We had one girl that was constantly on her phone. She stressed that she didn't want to have them on their phone. They need better training or screening. The owner refused to call the insurance for invoices. She put more stress on me.

They helped my mom pick out clothes. They even helped her with bathing and drying her hair. They had a lot of patience with my mom. They only came out for two and a half weeks. I need to reach out to them and get the invoice so that I can have that for my records. They could have not been misleading about getting the VA benefits right off the bat. It wasn't blunt or frank. They said that we could have them and that they were great and would help us get benefits, but that wasn't the case.
