My mother has some aides come to her home from CareGivers America - Berwick, PA. She is very happy with them. They do a really good job. They provide regular nursing aide service. They do light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry. They also do puzzles with her and that type of thing. They take her for walks and rides. They do the scheduling. As far as the billing, my mom has medical assistance, so it's all taken care of through that. Medical assistance tells us how many hours my mom has for the week and then we kind of came up with our own schedule of what would work for us, and they accommodated us. In the beginning, it was a little rocky. They didn't have a whole lot of help in the beginning. Now that they have a manager for Berwick, it's much easier to manage. We've had nothing but good service ever since she came there. They are pretty good now. If there are any issues, she steps up to the plate and takes care of them right away.
