I have to have them. They take care of my mother 24/7. They also communicate with me to make it easier on me and what I need to do. They are easy to deal with financially and with scheduling.

It gave me the time to really focus. They were able to help with my wife's Alzheimer's. There were some things that could have been done a little better, but that was my fault rather than the caregivers. I liked the flexibility they had when we had to make schedule changes. They were always looking to make us satisfied with a backup caregiver if our caregiver couldn't come for one reason or another.

I like their caring attitude and friendliness towards my mother and me. They make it a team effort. If the caregiver needs something, she can call on me, but she doesn't really need anything. They have been really good about notifying me of changes in the personnel when someone needs a day off. When there is a change, they let me know.

I was caring for her 36 hours at a time and was able to take a break for the 12 hours they were there. We also got to take a break from each other. When we needed somebody, they were usually able to get someone fairly quickly, and get the same couple caregivers every time.

The caregiver was staying all night and all she had to do was to supply a urinal for him and make sure that he did not fall out of bed. He urinated and then he fell out of bed. They were not able to fill the time slots adequately. The person that they sent was awful.
