I'm using Amy's Loving Care for my husband. They help him up and out of bed and get him and clean up if he's wet. We've gone to catheter care right now. My girl gets him up, gives him a washcloth to wash his face and hands, combs his hair, and puts a clean shirt on him. Right now, he has just been going in a T-shirt and his Depends. She then pushes him with the wheelchair to the dining room table, and she prepares his breakfast. She gets his meds out of the med box that I set up for him and puts it in his little cup and provides him with water and a cup of coffee and whatever he wants for breakfast. If he needs to lie down or go to the bathroom, she takes him and does that. She is taking and doing laundry for him, too. The trash has to go out to where my mailbox is, and my driveway is over a quarter of a mile long, so she takes the trash and takes it all the way, puts it in the back of her car, and takes it out clearly to the main road. She loads and unloads the dishwasher. She vacuums. I just came home from a doctor's appointment, and she had taken all my laundry that I had piled on the couch and folded it all and was ready to go and be put up. I have 13 rescue dogs in my home, and so she helps now with getting the dogs in and out of their cages, with their food and water bowls, and changing their beds. Because right now I've got a messed up left shoulder and it's kind of hard for me to do. She helps with anything that she sees needs to be done or I want done. Every day that she's here, she gathers all the trash out of all the rooms and the bathrooms. She's right at the excellent top of the line. I've told Amy's Loving Care that I need another day and I need more hours, and we're in the process of negotiating that. Because right now, I'm three and a half days alone with my husband. Because I have chronic bilateral sciatica with some osteoarthritis in my back and my knees, I need help over the weekend, it's just too long for me. He also just had a really bad fall Friday night, so we're in negotiations to get me more hours and more time. But the staff there is a very nice lady.
