I give 2 stars because I believe the de Greef house does offer a nice service IF your loved one enters. I approached de Greef house for my mom who was dying. I completed all paperwork and supplied all needed information. I never heard back from the social worker to let me know any status and my mom passed. During a loved one dying to tour & do all steps to apply and not hear anything is a very sad experience. We were trying to explore options for our moms last days and to have no response or follow up from the social worker of de Greef house post our application should not have happened. They should be sensitive & service oriented to assist families during the hardest days of their lives.

We were so thankful that this Hospice house was available for my mother in law. We were in shock that we had so little time left with her and this place was a God-send. She loved the place as much as we did. The staff were remarkable. We could not have asked for a better place for her to spend her final days.

My husband passed away but we were able to hire Fern & Russell F. de Greeff Hospice House for his hospice care. It was only for a week but their service was excellent. They were very helpful and we had very good care. I had no complaints with them.
