Today it didn't work out to good. Monday is my free day. I don't get charged if I don't use it. I made reservations last Monday, and they cancelled the lady coming out here. Today, they were going to send a lady out here till 1:15 for a hair cut. Somebody took my spot at the barber shop. I had to find my own way down there. I called the office up to cancel it. They made a new set of rules to notify them within 12 hours. They could have people in the office that know what they are doing.

The owner of the company doesn't always give me a real comfortable feeling. They aren't very nice to me. It depends on how my loved one feels. If they feel good, they are is bright and alert. Someone from BrightStar Care named Annette called our home phone at 5:15 during after hours and told David that his services had been cancelled. We were so confused by that since we didn't cancel. We are not sure if they hurt our relationship with the VA because of this. The caretaker doesn't wash her hands and doesn't act like a professional caretaker. They also said they could no longer take David to the YMCA, and I'm just trying to figure out what to do. We never had a care plan set up to know what we could use. I don't think it matches up with the care plan that we have. Up until they messed up, it was very positive and was working out great, but the new owner came in and has been very disruptive to our lives right now.
