We hired Visiting Angels - Adrian, MI for my husband. I was very pleased with the girl that we had, the VA hired them for me. She helped him take a shower, conversed with him or talked with him when I was not available, and help me keep my home neat. The gal I had was tremendous, I liked her a lot and hated to lose her. They're not good about returning calls and they're short-staffed. I don't think they have enough people to help them, they can't keep a person long enough because they don't give them long hours, so they had to find jobs elsewhere. So I'm not impressed with the way it's organized. But the people were pleasant; when you get a hold of somebody they were very nice. But it was hard to get a sound schedule from the same person twice. They need to have more staff and there needs to be somebody you can talk to when you call.
