Without question, Visting Angels has gone above and beyond for my father's everyday needs. Sue is a true professional, has a great deal of compassion, knowledge, and guided and supported us every step of the way. Hilda, Holly, and Pam took amazing care of my Father and not only cared for his needs, but showed him respect, provided companionship, and excelled at the light cleaning needed. They treated my mother with a great deal of respect as well and all were valued for their kind, caring nature. I highly recommend Sue and her team. They are a major asset and my family and I will forever be grateful to them.

I am not one to write a review, however, when the level of care exceeds my parameters such should be known. My brother had had a stroke which requires a level of care in which I needed an agency providing such. Visiting Angels has exceeded my wishes. The aide worker is highly skilled/ knowledgeable & experienced to provide this high quality skill, throughout. Sue and her staff have been extremely helpful with all aspects, to provide their knowledge helping me to make the correct choices in promoting my brothers care. As Visiting Angels has been so supportive to me and my brother, I have added to his length of care for another month.

I have to contact my loved one ahead of time to let him know. Visiting Angels doesn't give employees work phones, so I can't direct directly with the caregivers, and that's ridiculous. That's a policy, but I know from experience that that's not that expensive.

They reach out to a doctor or emergency room or things like that, it was outstanding. There was an incident where he had fallen and was really sore. I contacted them and we thought calling an ambulance was the best option. However, she also went ahead and called the emergency room and that was really big. It is rather difficult because I don't know who is going to show up. I need somebody when I need somebody. I had asked them for three days a week. I need someone when I end up in the hospital and when I am very sick. I need them to send somebody so that I am not alone. They need to follow my directions and not their own. I am the one paying, so I should have some say in what happens.

The impact has been very positive. The caregivers make things very social for my aunt. They keep her company, but they also ensure her safety. Her fall risk is getting better I think. They are always there for her to make sure she is safe when she gets up to go to the bathroom or makes a move. Because we are on 24-hour care, there's a lot of hours and days to cover. I would tell people that they are always available. There have been very few circumstances where they are unable to show up to do the job. That is a big deal for families who work, have children, or have other obligations. They have been taking care of my aunt and uncle since October. In the scheme of things, it is very amazing!
