The worst care I have ever seen with hospice! My morher had stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November and CHCS was recommended to us by a friend for her care! I would never recommend this company to anyone! It started out with not being able to control her paid, to giving her a ton of morphine every 2 hours than added ativan and other meds on top which included a fentanyl patch. We were accused of chewing a used fentanyl patch because one got lost in her bed which no one could find and they are very small and see through . Than having a narcotic check because the doctor telling the nurse that she was prescribing to much morphine and it’s her license on the line instead of just having the provider come out to see her and assess the situation ! Taking way to long to getting her a hospital bed after she had fallen multiple times trying to get up and walk and that was assisted by one of us family members. She had a fever for days and we were told there suppositories in the white box that was given and we had to give them ourselves. Multiple trips to the hospital to get her pain down, and than enemas because she wasn’t going to the bathroom to the point where she was red and raw st home and I told the nurse enough was enough Not one CNA coming out for baths until day 14 or even help to assist us to do it ! Just all around crap patient care and I would give this company a 0 if I could 1 star was as low as it goes ! I wouldn’t not have your loved one be taken care of by this company in there last fragile days !

They were kind, they take care of the patients, and are really easy to work with. They were interested in making the arrangements for the patients, so the transition would be easy.
