They're very accessible. When I have a problem or a question, I can get a hold of somebody right away. They listen and respond as much as they're able. I needed somebody with a particular schedule, and since it's a small agency, I had to wait until they hired somebody who could meet that need. But since I'm flexible a lot, it didn't present a problem for me. Wind Beneath Your Wings helps me with light housekeeping, preparing meals, and exercising with my husband if he's willing. My husband needed to go get a haircut, and my caregiver took him to the barber. Regarding billing, they send the invoice for the month following care, and then I either send a check or something to pay it. I have long-term care insurance, so they reimburse me. I have been using them for three years now. Overall, I like the caregivers they send."

"BrightStar Care East Lansing offers home services like housekeeping and companionship. We had quite a few caregivers. My mom was very difficult so they didn't last very long. They were very friendly and for the most part on time. The scheduling was OK. I suggest they match up the type of care to the person that needs the care. They didn't do a very good job at that."

"I called several home care agencies in the Lansing area searching for someone to assist my elderly parents with transportation and light housekeeping tasks. I chose PCAH because after speaking with the owner Brian, I felt that they were most able to provide care. Brian was willing to put their needs first in matching them with a caregiver and was personable and responsive on the phone prior to beginning care. The caregiver spent more time on their phone than engaging with my parents or caring for their needs, did fine when told what to do, but wasn’t really able to be proactive in helping without being asked. Then after just 3 days, they quit without notice, leaving my parents without transportation to a doctor appointment. Brian initially said he would find a replacement, but then stopped responding; he has not responded to my emails or returned my parents’ phone messages. I am disappointed in the care and service and do not recommend this agency."

They have the most wonderful and caring staff who truly are in the right line of work for themselves as you can feel and see the passion in them for doing this type of work, it is a good fit. The staff also is there for someone like me the daughter of someone they are caring for to support me and make me feel like I am not alone regarding decisions that need to be made or even for running something by them just to get their opinion of maybe a way to approach it or an experience they might have had while caring for others that worked well. They are kind, considerate and quick to get you answers to questions they don't have the answers too immediately. All of the staff is courteous, efficient and oh so caring. I am thrilled that they are caring for my mother, she is happy and feels so well cared for and so we her children (I have 3 siblings) are all very happy with the care she receives. "
