"We contacted Right at Home to provide care for my father who is suffering from dementia and was starting to experience mobility issues. Our mother had been providing the majority of his care, but she was undergoing chemo treatments and needed some additional assistance. We'd originally planned on having caregivers 3 days a week to assist my dad with bathing, dressing, and transportation, but quickly changed that to 24/7 due to sudden mobility issues and falls which were more than my mother could handle. Mom was very leery of having "strangers" in her home, but the caregivers have been amazing! Not only do they help Dad with grooming and personal care, but they also have been helping him with exercises, which has improved his mobility. My Dad is extremely sociable and really enjoys interacting with the caregivers, which has improved his overall emotional state. Mom doesn't drive, so they're also helping with transportation and running errands. The staff at Right at Home evaluated my parents' needs and put together a personalized plan for dad's care, while also considering my mom's wishes. They've worked hard to find caregivers who match my parents' needs and personalities, and to quickly set up a schedule for 24/7 care. It's been a relief for our family knowing that our parents are in such great hands. I highly recommend RAH!"
