I am a Case Manager who made a referral for home health. Six days after submitting the referral I got a call from the patient asking why "the P.T. hasn't come over yet?" I called the intake and they have been "sitting" on the referral doing nothing. Apparently the Primary Care MD "needs to write the order" and they have not reached out to him. I spoke with the Nursing Supervisor and she offered no assistance or follow up to expedite the referral for the patient. My expectation is that the agency admission/intake follow up as needed to deliver services in a timely manner. I will not recommend or send referrals to PRN Home Care in the future.

The nurse did not call o schedule visits, called office three times with no return call received in over two hours.
