I am using Nurse Next Door Home Care Services - San Diego, CA, for my sister. When we started, it was more of a companion-type arrangement where she complained about nobody ever coming to see her. Then, when things started to decline a little with her health, we met with the Nurse Next Door, and we made a list of what we expected of their services, and they have been able to provide them. We wanted light housekeeping, preparing meals, taking her to doctor appointments, and monitoring the medications, so they were able to do all of that. She has two caregivers. One of them comes three days a week, and the other one comes two days a week. The one who comes three days a week is a registered RN. Both of them are great. So, right now, it's working.
