I tried to cancel them once, but I was called back and placed with another caregiver. I was pleased with that caregiver but she was soon replaced. They promised me a full time caregiver and when I found someone, they replaced her. The caregivers I have do not know how to do anything.

It's helped me the most, because I can go to the store, they provide transportation. I like that when I request for a caregiver, I get it. I really need that because I am in a wheelchair. I cannot do it without a caregiver.

Shauna, the caregiver, does very well with my dad. The woman that used to come went to work full time after she finished her nursing degree, but she was able and we had a couple of people in between. They had trouble getting their schedule right. She does things he really loves. She makes banana nut muffins for my dad and he just loves that. Their administrative practices are a little off. The guy I deal with is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

It was getting very hard for me to take care of him, the lifting him and getting him into wheelchairs. It really made a difference for me and he was happy. It made him more comfortable because he felt like he was making me do too much. They were very, very understanding with him. They were very careful with him. They didn't try to rush him. I was able to relax and not have to worry about him falling.
