"We chose to move my husband at Cenoma House, because it's a memory-loss home. The care was wonderful when he was there. They were very patient and kind to him. It's an older home, but it was very clean. In the summertime, they had barbecues and picnics and things like that."

"My wife was at Willow Place Assisted Living for about 3 weeks. They treated her wonderfully. They were caring and did everything they could to care for her and make her time as easy as possible. The staff was wonderful. My wife wasn't eating much, but they did the best they could. They tried to give her stuff that she could handle. I had a meal there at Thanksgiving, and it was wonderful. Willow Place was a home. It was not a large facility. So, it was a very homey environment and it was very comfortable that we felt at home. It was peaceful and quiet, and it was exactly what my wife needed. Everything they did, they did very well."

"My mom moved into Grace Assisted Living Twin Falls. It's very clean and well put together. It's updated and cheery. The staff is very professional. Her home, a little apartment, is very well put together and functional, and the meals are really good. She gets her medications on time. And she's thriving, she's doing well. It's a studio apartment with a large bathroom and then a little kitchenette. She does not cook for herself, and she goes to the dining room. I think we're getting good value. She has done some activities. She has gone out on some outings. She went to a concert, and they also have musical groups that come and sing, and that usually is on a Friday night. We ate our first meal together with her. I didn't know what to expect, but it was delicious."

"I went to BridgeView Estates to visit a friend. I liked the fact that they had clean, sufficient apartments for each individual. Meals could be prepared locally in their rooms or they could attend group meals in the cafeteria/dining area. They also had outdoor seating and outdoor places where they could sit, walk, and enjoy, as well as various activities for seniors. People were able to have their own vehicles, so they could leave and come as they wished. They were not completely in an isolated environment. Those who needed more particular care, they usually had group transportation, a local van. Plus, the living space was extremely nice, clean, and modern. They were constantly in contact with the residents to make sure that they were safe and in good shape."

"I didn't like Twin Falls Care and Rehabilitation Center much, but at least the aides stayed to take care of my mom, and they knew her and would talk to her and treat her like she was a real person. It was roomy, and they had a nice entryway for people who would come to visit. They had a nice room where I could play the piano for my mom, a nice TV room, and a really nice dining area. "

"My dad moved to The Canyons Retirement Community. They immediately made us feel at ease. It's a newer facility. It doesn't have an institutional feel. It feels more, like an elite hotel or a nice hotel setting. The service to their clients is just wonderful. They have the philosophy that this is their home and that's exactly the way they treat people. The staff was great. I haven't met one that hasn't been friendly and helpful. My mother eats with my father regularly and says it's really good. They have daily activities. My father is in memory care, so the activities are not quite as intense but, they have daily exercise, and classes, and there's some kind of a daily afternoon event like they bring in singing groups. They have an ice cream social and tasty Tuesdays. I think there's a good value for the money."

"My husband was at Chardonnay Assisted Living for about a year. He was in assisted living. They were very, very nice and quite thorough. The people out there seemed to care so much so I was very impressed. They have two houses of people. The one my husband was in had 13 people, but it was not full. I think there were about 12 or 11 other people there when he was there. His room's upkeep was very good. I ate there once and the food was okay. The dining area had two tables and they sat 4 or 5 people around them. Some of the people ate in their rooms but my husband ate at the dining table. My husband didn't participate in them but I think they had crafts and such for them to do. They had puzzles too and those kinds of things. It was expensive but all of them are."

"My uncle has moved into DeSano Place Village Assisted Living & Memory Care. I'm well pleased with that facility. It's nice. He is in the assisted care facility, but he has a high possibility of moving to memory care. I'm impressed with the quality of the facility and the capabilities of the staff. They were very accommodating. His room is clean, neat, and well-maintained."

"If we would put mom in a facility, we would put her at River Rock Assisted Living. It's a really nice facility and very nicely laid out. The rooms were actually large and very bright. They have big windows and they all have bathroom. I would say the staff were warm and friendly. Their dining room and kitchen is very open. All in all, the place is very homey. It doesn’t feel institutionalized. "
