My dad was at Manitowoc Care and Rehab Center. It seemed like everything was OK. Everybody was nice to me. The place was very pretty with bright colors. They made it seem like a very happy place. They had a general store and old-time shops that were all colorful. Their rooms were decorated nicely. I think they did a really good job there. They had activities there, like bingo.

My grandmother needed care for the duration of the rest of her life after she suffered from a debilitating stroke. She was depressed and paralyzed and needed assistance in every aspect of her life. She relied on round-the-clock care for every aspect of her life. She couldn't move many of her limbs and she slowly descended into a deep memory loss. The staff of this assisted living facility did their best to provide my grandmother with the most full potential quality of life until her ultimate death at the facility. Her caregivers would transport her by wheelchair to facility games and social events and made sure that my grandmother did not miss her favorite television shows such as Wheel of Fortune and Green Bay Packers games. She was provided with a satisfactory meal schedule and a variety of meals during her time at the facility. The staff was friendly and attentive to her needs.
