My grandfather lives at Kindred Hearts in Manitowoc, WI. It's a fairly small assisted living facility where many of the residents, including my grandpa, have Alzheimer's. It is a nice, friendly place. They always have the meals of the day and special events posted so the residents know what to expect, and are reminded when they forget. There is a little courtyard in the middle of the two residential wings that is nice for the residents to get outside and is a good place to chat with visiting loved ones. The building is fenced in and has safety alarms on the doors so the caretakers know if a resident exits the building. They understand the special needs for the type of residents that live there and are patient with their memory loss. We are generally happy with the service my grandpa receives there.
