I was treated very well at Fort Vancouver Convalescent. I stayed there for about 10 days, and I was given the help I needed. I was very pleased. I had a great roommate, and we had a lot of fun together. It was really a fine experience. The staff were all very kind and helpful. They responded promptly to any request that I made. The food was great and it was adequate. I love their outdoor area, where residents can grow plants.

When I got there it seemed nice but the place had an awful smell. The staff was nice and came and helped her when needed she had a roommate to visit with and was able to get books from the library that had large text. My grandma is a little demanding so they sent her home after a week without her finishing her rehabilitation needs. I was worried she was not going to recover right at home. She now is still unable to do as much as she did before and mostly stays at home walking with a walker.
