Courtland Place was beautiful. It was clean. The people there seemed very happy. Several of the seniors who stayed there stopped me in the hallway and told me how much they loved it there. They all seemed very happy and friendly. I did look at the rooms and the rooms were beautiful, had high ceilings, very clean, and probably recently redone. The ones that I looked at were two-bedrooms. There were two bathrooms in each two bedrooms, one had a bathtub and one had a walk-in shower. The kitchens were all new. They had fireplaces. They all had a walkout area to the patio. All of the maintenance and everything was included. Internet and phone were the only things that weren't included. I only met one person that took me around and that man was very knowledgeable. He seemed to kind of do more than just one thing. He also was a chef some of the time. He was very cordial and very nice. He answered all my questions. He seemed very honest. I felt very good about the place. They have a full kitchen in their rooms, and they go to the grocery store and stuff like that if they want to make their own meals. They don't have to eat in the cafeteria, but the meals were included for breakfast and dinner, and I watched some of the elderly people leave the dining area, they had food with them, so they were giving them as much food as they wanted, and they were taking food back to their rooms.
