Fieldstone on Clear Creek

We have moved into Fieldstone on Clear Creek. It's fine. We like it. The people are very friendly here. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. The rooms are a lot larger than some of the other places, and I think it is because this is a newer facility. Right now, we're independent, but they also have assisted living. They have a lot of activities here available. And today, they are having a big birthday party for all the people that have January birthdays. There'll be music, cake, and decorations, so we are very active. They take their people to a lot of different places when they need to go shopping, to go to the doctors, and field trips too. One of the reasons we chose this place is because they have a very large calendar of different events that you can choose from.

Fieldstone on Clear Creek was very clean, bright, and healthy looking. It was a very nice-looking place. The staff was very friendly, very professional, and very helpful. While we were touring the place, we saw some residents playing cards and other games, and they all seemed nice and happy. We saw the gym, an arts and crafts area, an entertainment area, and a bar. They had places to relax and watch TV every night. The apartments looked adequate. This facility was convenient to everything we wanted.

Fieldstone on Clear Creek was updated. They have a full restaurant with a menu that rotates once every month and a half. Their was pretty good (the turkey sandwich was good!). My dad had the BLT and if he thought of getting more bacon, he can ask and get more bacon. The rooms were nice. My dad will have a patio there (he has a larger dog which they will allow to stay with him) and they have a lot of amenities. They've got a theater, a spa, a fitness center, physical therapists on staff, and pharmacy access, and it was close to his home. The person that gave the tour was energetic and friendly. Her name was Nettie.

There are two divisions at Fieldstone on Clear Creek, the senior and assisted living, and then they have the memory care building. My parents are living in their senior living. For the value that we got for the money that they were going to have to pay, it's better than the other places. The facility is beautiful and it's got all kinds of amenities, plus it was $800 less than the other communities. They've got beautiful interiors, very comfortable sizes of the rooms, and they seem to like it. The staff is very nice and very good. Like a lot of places, they've been having difficulty getting some staff. So sometimes they take a little bit longer than my parents would be happy with, but for the most part, my parents seem to like the staff. They work really hard and are very cheerful. I find that the place is everything that they talked about and then some. We have tried the food, my parents like the food although the variety isn't as much as they like it to be. But the food quality is really good. They have lots of space in the hallways, the dining area is very large and beautiful and they have a lot of activities for them to do. They do art and crafts classes, they have a little movie theater that they have movies in a couple of times a week, and they have a workout room that has, cycles and weight lifting and treadmills. The dining area was really big and has a big fireplace that is both indoor and outdoor fires. During the summer if we ever get some nice weather, they'll be able to eat outdoors.
