My dad passed away after spending close to seven (7) years as a resident at Jackson House Assisted Living in Boston, VA. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the owners/management and staff for their kindness and compassion. You do not know how wonderful it is to have peace of mind knowing that your loved one is being taken cared of in a safe, loving home environment. he was treated as if he is their own father and grandfather. in my father's own words he said..."They do a good job, they take good care of me." Jackson House is truly an asset to Rappahannock county and the community. I truly believe they are angels on earth.

Jackson house is a blessing to those who seek the best care for older loved ones. The management sends staff to yearly Alzheimer's Dementia training. The management monitors and supervises the care of the residents. The management communicates well with the families and attending physicians. The Administrator who is a Registered nurse and a Board certified Gerontological and Medical Surgical nurse also gives back to the community by giving a free health lecture once a month at the Rappahannock Senior Center.I have peace of mind since I decided to bring my mother there.

I highly recommend this small home-like facility owned and operated by Gerontology Certified Registered Nurses.Care for your loved ones is supervised by nurses. You will feel safe for your parents knowing that the caregivers and management know what they are doing. The management is reachable 24 hours a day. The care is very personal and the caregivers are very patient, kind and compassionate. They encourage family and friends to visit. It is located on the foothills and the place DOES NOT look and smell like nursing home. They are also cheaper than other families, but the quality and services are superb. God bless this place.
