We highly recommend Village Healthcare and Rehabilitation. The environment in this community is exceptional! My mom was received and treated as family since day one by all staff. Staff is caring and make every effort to accommodate residents and have their needs met - medical wise, safety, meals, therapy, housekeeping, activities, etc. We are sincerely grateful for the care given to my mom.

The staff at Village Healthcare And Rehabilitation is caring. They listen to our concerns and they fix things. For example, my aunt does not like certain foods, so they jotted it down. She requested certain food for every meal and they're very accommodating. They are wonderful. I have phone numbers of the staff members and if I need something, I could just let them know. If my aunt needs something, she just lets one of the staff know and it doesn't matter which one it is. From CNAs to the nurses to the social services coordinator, anybody, and they get back to me. It is amazing and that's why we like it. They allow me to add items to beautify her space. For the restroom, I was allowed to put little baskets and floral arrangements. They just want to make her feel comfortable. It is just an older facility. They have activities. They have a massage, nails/pedicure on certain days, and entertainment. They have religious services (they are not mandatory, but for people to attend). They have physical therapy equipment and she can request to go extra.

My mother has been staying in the Village for her rehab going on two weeks now. The facility is very clean, I checked the room bathroom and the public access bathrooms several times over several days. Food wise the chef made personal visits to my mothers room to ensure the food was to her liking and that her stomach was causing her no issues. The nurses and staff are polite, professional and responsive. With almost 100 beds I was impressed with their attentiveness and prompt response. The facility is a converted resort; it's layout allows for nice views into the two courtyards, one of which provides a view from the gym area.
