We were very pleased with the cleanliness, the staff and the treatment of our loved ones. The food overall seemed appealing. They kept our loved ones clean, and showed sincere concern and caring. This facility worked well with and for our loved ones needs.

We chose Gilmer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center because it was recommended by the head of the physical therapy for what my mother needed, and also it took her insurance. She loves it, and she's real happy over there. I'm satisfied with it. She fell and broke her hip, and they had to send her over there for more rehab. I also wanted her in memory care there because she has Alzheimer's. The staff is really nice. I haven't had a problem. If my mother eats the food, it's got to be good. They don't have a problem with her eating, and she's a very picky eater. The facility has been there for quite a while, but they just did a renovation on it, so it's very well kept.
