"Listed as Nexion Nursing Home and Alzheimer's Home - I've left my mom there several times, 1st in the Alzheimer's Unit, and now that she can no longer walk, she has been in the regular nursing home - the staff is WONDERFUL! They take such good care of mom that she comes home in good shape! The Hospice staff that I have at home sees daily to her basic needs, but the staff cares for her completely too! Thank You! "

"My mother-in-law is in Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center. She has therapy and various other things to go along with it. It's very nice and clean. Her room is very clean, very pleasant, and very large to meet her needs. The staff has been pleasant so far. They take good care of her. She doesn't have any complaints. They have cards. They have all kinds of games. They have off-campus activities where they go out to eat or go to the casino up in Oklahoma. They had a group come to the home the other day and had music, and she enjoyed that very much."

"My sister was in Villas of Mount Pleasant. She was only there for a week. It was nice and expensive-looking. It was very well furnished. It was bigger and newer than the other facility; however, they didn't have the staff to take care of the patients. Though the office personnel and the administrator were attentive, but the people that did the patient care was very uncaring. They should have more caring personnel. With regards to meals, food wasn't brought to the room warm. I would not recommend this facility. "

"My husband has been in the Pittsburg Nursing Center for over a year now. Before he was in a Gilmer Wesley House and Mt. Pleasant's The Lodge. Needing more care he was moved to Pittsburg's Nursing Center last year. I have not noticed anything that I would call a problem. He get great personal care and medical care. The food for patients is very good,. My husband enjoys it and it is much better than some other nursing homes. He is always tidy and so is his room. He is out of his room a lot and is always supervised. If anything goes wrong they call me right then and tell what they have had to do and will do as future help towards him. I have been very satisfied with Pittsbur Nursing Center"

"My brother is at The Springs Nursing Center. The best thing about it would be the staff. They are very caring and interact with the clients there in a very personable way. They've been very quick to catch any physical problems my brother has had and take care of them. They keep me in touch. They're good staff. They are competent and caring. He was offered a chance to engage with them in game time and movies and stuff. He just never decided to do that, but I know they offer them. They have a big physical therapy room and the outside area for them to walk around. It's a small place and the rooms are pretty cramped. It's very clean, but they're very crowded. The places where they had the people sitting during the day that they had to keep an eye on were pretty congested. They have a dining area. I know they offered haircuts, but I didn't see a salon. They have a recreation room. They have a courtyard for them."

"My grandmother is in The Springs. My cousin has been working there for 22 years, and it's wonderful because her family will go there if she has issues. They're working with my family financially. The food is really good. It's nice and peaceful. They all call her Aunt Shirley, and if something happens, instead of them just holding her down and drugging her, they will call my cousin and ask her. They're amazing. They've all known my family for years, so it's like we're all big one family. We got some food the first night I took her even though it was late. She has gained weight being there. They have good cooks. I love it."

"Staff is amazing and cares about their job! They are always willing to go above and beyond for their residents. My Papa has been here six months and loves it. He loves the activities and especially the food. I have worked at several facilities and none of them compared to Lakeview. They work together as a team. At any given time, you will see the DON or administrator chipping into help where needed. 110% would recommend for anyone to bring their family to Lakeview. "

"Whispering Pines was a small community, so everyone knows everybody. It's got a homey feel to it. My mother's room was very blah, I wasn't very impressed, but I think she's being cared for there. The meals are pretty good. They did have things to do like painting, a pool room, and so on. I just wish they could have more physical therapy or something that could help the patients do more of the activities."

"My mother is in Gilmer Nursing & Rehabilitation for about a month now. It's very clean and smells fresh when you go in. That was a big selling point. The nurses are very kind and patient with her and they're willing to speak to me on the phone if I can't get by there, and she's getting really good care. She's in a private room. She's private pay for the first month until we can get assistance. It's very nice that it's cleaned once a day. They check her bed four or five times a day. It's nice and roomy, there's plenty of storage for her things, even if she does go into a room with a roommate, the rooms are a nice size, so they're not crowded together. It's convenient. My son lives less than a block away. It's not that far from me. It's easy in, easy out. Most of the time she says the food is good. Sometimes, of course, anything's off, especially in her situation. From what I've seen, the food looks really good and appetizing, and I think it's seasoned well. They have activities, they make a little snack before lunch and they do that three days a week. They offer bingo and the beauty salon is closed due to the COVID, but they offer a lot for her to do if she wants to."
