My friend moved to the independent living community of Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte. I like the community for him, and I told him that when I retire, I may consider it. The food was great, and we got to eat with him there. They're also helpful. There are a few things that could be a little bit cleaner, but overall, everybody's nice there. They also have a lot of help for him walking around and doing things, so that part is really good. They are keeping an eye on him. The staff members are very helpful and very knowledgeable. They offer some activities like bingo and other types of things. They do dances, and they have a happy hour once a week. The residents also do things together. Right now, he is in a studio, but he is going to be moving to a 1-bedroom apartment. I think the rooms are a very good size.

My friend will move into Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte. My daughter and I went, and it's a very nice place. The staff was amazingly friendly. We were going down there towards their little happy hour that they have. So, everybody was happy, having a good time, and eating. It's a very nice, comfortable place. They fed us tacos, and we met the chef, and he gave us a little piece of tuxedo cake or something like that, which was very good.

My Father lived at Solstice for 5 years. I was worried that he might isolate himself, but he enjoyed living there. The staff was helpful and caring. There were interesting activities for all the residents. They had speeches and games. They recently had a singer and dance celebrating Selena. There were several Residents who had their dogs with them! During dinner, there was a pianist playing music on a grand piano. Overall my Dad enjoyed his time at Solstice. I will always be grateful for the staff who made his experience there positive.

We went to Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte. We looked at the one-bedroom apartment type, and then we looked at the casitas, which is what my mom kind of gravitated to because it would have been an easier transition from a family home to a casita where it seems like you're in your own little house. We toured the dining areas and the other services they had, like the beauty shop. The physical therapist was also there. Everybody was very professional, very accommodating, and polite.

We toured Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte. The secretary that gave us the information was good at it. She made us feel like she would be able to get my friend in. After they studied my friend's finances, apparently she went over, so she didn't qualify to be there. The place was nice though. It was clean and attractive from the outside. They were setting up to have a petting zoo in the backyard, and we were interested in that. They were bringing in animals.

My tour of Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte was actually amazing. I spoke to Miss Castillo, and she pretty much explained how everything works. She gave me a tour of the place. She showed me a studio and a 1-bedroom apartment. She showed me the library, some games, and a pool table. The staff was great. Everybody was professional and amazingly nice. When I arrived, everybody was eating. They have this gigantic lobby, and you could tell everybody was interacting with each other. The main lobby was right at the center, and the cottages were located around it. It was easy to find a parking spot, and you could easily tell where the office was. I think the layout was perfect.

My dad's been in Solstice Senior Living at Rio Norte for a year now. It's a two-level building. They have an elevator and the overall layout is pretty good. The staff is amazing. They have a lot of board games, they do movie nights, happy hours, arts and crafts, and they have a bus that'll take them to the mall or bingo or the casino if they want. Just that, the food is always served cold because they don't have enough staff to serve them. So, he's always complaining about the quality of food.
