"My mother moved into Orchard Park of Permian Basin. She likes the Bible study that they do there. They have people making sure she gets her meals. The place is really nice inside. They have a really nice dining room, and it looks like the food is really good. It is pretty much top notch, I think. They do a really good job. They help clean her room and do her laundry. I'm pretty happy with that. They have several patios. One has a big fireplace on it, and they all look really nice. There is also a library. Sometimes, they give facials to whoever wants them. They have somebody that comes by and cuts their hair once a month, if they want one. They also do their nails. They play bingo. They have exercise and activities. They have an activities director, and she is busy doing something all the time."

"I went over to Polo Park Estates and checked out their one-bedroom apartment, and it was way too small for me. It's a beautiful place, and it was within my budget, though. A two-bedroom would have been bigger, but it was way over my budget. Everything else was wonderful, and I was very impressed with it. If the place had been a little bit bigger, I definitely would have gone there. The only thing that made my final decision was the price because everything else was perfect. As it stands, I can't afford it on a monthly basis. The staff was wonderful. They were very pleasant and very helpful. I talked to some of the people who lived there, and they were very welcoming, too. They acted like they wanted me to come on board immediately. The facility was very clean, very neat, and very well-organized. They had a gym, which I thought was very good. I think they did say they had a hair salon. They had a library at one time, too, but I don't think they have one anymore. They just redid the place, so I'm sure they're still working on it."

"I chose Holiday Lincoln Tower for myself because my only child lives in this town. It's beautiful. They take care of meals and everything I need. I had a sample of the meal, and it was great. They had a chef. The staff members are very friendly. They have a lot of activities. They take you anywhere you want to go on the bus. They have lots of activities planned. Last night when we were moving stuff, I don't know what they were doing, but there was an activity and I saw them all grouped. It was a group activity. They have housekeepers come and change your linens once a week. They make your bed, and they vacuum and stuff like that. I'm not sure about everything yet because I'm still in the middle of moving. I will have a safety button if I need help at any time. They're on-call all the time for help if I need help. They have lovely little apartments. They have food and they have an exercise room. They also steered me in the right direction for the VA to help me a little bit. This will take some time, but I happen to be an eligible VA spouse. And that helps a lot."
