I went over to Polo Park Estates and checked out their one-bedroom apartment, and it was way too small for me. It's a beautiful place, and it was within my budget, though. A two-bedroom would have been bigger, but it was way over my budget. Everything else was wonderful, and I was very impressed with it. If the place had been a little bit bigger, I definitely would have gone there. The only thing that made my final decision was the price because everything else was perfect. As it stands, I can't afford it on a monthly basis. The staff was wonderful. They were very pleasant and very helpful. I talked to some of the people who lived there, and they were very welcoming, too. They acted like they wanted me to come on board immediately. The facility was very clean, very neat, and very well-organized. They had a gym, which I thought was very good. I think they did say they had a hair salon. They had a library at one time, too, but I don't think they have one anymore. They just redid the place, so I'm sure they're still working on it.

I'm in Polo Park Estates right now. My apartment is all right. It's all I need. They've got activities here all day long. They have hymn singing at 2:00 in the afternoon, they have bingo three or four times a week, plus different stuff. The staff is very good. The food is very good. They have a variety of food every day.

Everything is all-inclusive at Polo Park Estates, and that's good. However, I don't need a whole lot as I'm still working. So the meals that they would provide wouldn't be to my advantage or anything like that. The staff that helped me was very good. She was very honest and very helpful. She wasn't judgmental as far as what I wanted or what I didn't want. The structure of the building is situated in a very unique place. There are stores in front that people could walk to and there are restaurants very close by. The country is not too far away, too. Also, they're very nice and very approachable.

We went to Polo Park Estates. The tour was very nice and very thorough. The location is wonderful in reference to our home. The facilities were bright, clean, and airy. They have studios and one-bedrooms. They have an outstanding number of activities and common areas. It's a three-level unit. They have a gym and a chapel. They have multiple rooms for activities and they have a very large dining room. They have areas where they gather to sing and play games, a library, and a gym. There are multiple places outside where they can gather and have outside parties or activities. So, it's pretty nice. We did have lunch there, and it was wonderful.
