Nursing Home Communities in Big Spring, TX

"My parents were in Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. They had a really good rehab place there, because both of them had been there for rehab. It was nice and clean, and the people seemed to be a lot more caring. The food and meal service was good, and they had good, balanced meals all the time. The cost was a little high, but not as high as some of them around here, so it's a good average. They keep you really informed, so that's good, but the only part I didn't understand was why they didn't want my mom and dad in the facility, instead, sending them out to the VA."

"The staff and the service Sterling Country Nursing Home provided were excellent. The staff went out of their way for her and it was very clean. The size of the room was nice and she had a roommate but it was okay. My mom doesn’t eat too much but what I saw was way too much food and she said it tasted good. When my mom ate in the dining room all the ladies sit together and they had one area out and it was nice. They have all kinds of activities every day although mom wasn’t able to do anything but they have all kinds of games, and they would take them if they wanted to go for drives. Across the street they play bingo, everyday there was something going on. "
