This is a wonderful facility; my husband was here for 1 1/2 years until he had to go into a nursing home. Sadly, he passed away on December 13, 2013 from this devastating desease. I want to encourage anyone who has a loved one with a dementia-related illness to visit and hopefully, decide to entrust their loved one to the wonderful caring staff. I work full time, and as I stated in an earlier message, while it was always hard to leave my husband each day, I never doubted that he was going to be receiving compassionate care here. I am still going to the support group meetings to give and receive encouragement in my grief. I have met some wonderful people in those meetings, and it is truly a source of comfort to me.

My husband was at this center for 1 1/2 years; the only reason he is no longer there is due to the progression of this insidious disease. The care my husband received was top-notch, and my only regret is that I did not enroll him sooner. It gave me peace of mind while I was at work to know that he was in a safe and caring environment, and it gave him a purpose in life. I continue to go to the support meetings. I will be forever grateful to everyone who cared for my husband and for the continued support I am receiving even though my husband is now in a nursing home.

This Alzheimer's Day Care Center is a wonderful place for my wife to interact with others having the same disease. There are activities planned all day and the staff are caring and efficient. The center keeps my wife occupied and interested rather than having to stay home all day while I work.
